Yes! Even You Need To Strength Train!

as we age, something called sarcopenia occurs, particularly over 50. To combat this degenerative aging process, start or keep lifting weights. For beginners, start slow and low-one to two sets and low weight. Consult a fitness professional or follow a proven lifting program designed for newbies. Find someone who clearly practices what they preach (do they have muscles?). Make sure you get your form down before increasing weight; this is where a pro can help! Strength workouts can be done in a variety of forrmats: 3-5 sets, max reps, CrossFit, Tabata, resistance bands, suspension bands, etc. Mix it up to keep it fresh and fun. Phone a friend for motivation and accountability. Change your scenery and go outside with weights. For more tips and tricks email me so you can start building muscle now; it's the best time to get started! #fitness #workouts #strongbody #wellness #peakhealth360 #exercise @palmbeachgyms
